Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of FPLCraft (the "Service"), an AI-assisted Fantasy Premier League companion app. By installing or using the Service you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country, if higher) to use FPLCraft, and you must hold a valid Fantasy Premier League account.

2. Account & authentication

FPLCraft uses the official Premier League OAuth flow to authenticate you. You are responsible for keeping your Premier League credentials secure. We never see or store your password — only the access token issued by the Premier League service, which is kept on your device.

3. AI recommendations are advisory

FPLCraft uses statistical models and large language models to generate captaincy, transfer, and wildcard suggestions. These recommendations are advisory only. FPL involves randomness, injuries, rotation, and other factors no model can predict perfectly. You remain solely responsible for the decisions you make in your FPL team. We make no warranty regarding ranking, points, or league outcomes.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of the FPL Terms of Use.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source of the app, except where permitted by law.
• Scrape, mirror, or resell data obtained through the Service.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its supporting infrastructure.
• Submit content that is illegal, harassing, or infringes anyone's rights.

5. Third-party services

The Service depends on third parties — including the Premier League / FPL API, Google Firebase, Anthropic, Google AI, and Cloudflare. Outages or changes to those services can affect FPLCraft. We are not liable for any third-party act or omission.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, including its source code, design, branding, copy, and AI prompt assets, is owned by FPLCraft and protected by copyright and trademark law. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes. Premier League and FPL trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used here under fair use; FPLCraft is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Premier League.

7. User content

If you submit feedback, ideas, or bug reports to us, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, irrevocable licence to use that content to improve the Service. You confirm you have the right to share whatever you submit.

8. Subscriptions & pricing

FPLCraft is currently provided free of charge for the 2025/26 FPL season. We may introduce paid features in future seasons; if we do, we will give clear notice and you will be free to keep using the existing free tier or stop using the Service.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties — express, implied, statutory, or otherwise — including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or accurate at all times.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FPLCraft and its contributors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of points, ranking, profits, data, or goodwill arising out of your use of the Service. Our total cumulative liability for any claim related to the Service will not exceed US $50, or the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim — whichever is greater.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that risks harm to other users, our infrastructure, or third parties.

12. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms when the Service changes or to reflect legal requirements. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the FPLCraft team operates, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, subject to your non-waivable consumer rights under local law.
